It’s that time of year again. We spend the evening adjusting our clocks as we collectively spring forward. Although many dread the lost hour, they also look forward to the longer days and warmer weather. Undoubtedly, we can smell it in the air and hear it in the sounds of nature. Finally, spring is on the horizon, and with it comes renewed hope and fresh perspective.

A Sense Of Renewal
Springtime – a season of rebirth. The mood of spring carries a sense of renewal. Furthermore, there is a happy anticipation of fruit and bloom as glimpses of green begin to peak through the remnants of a harsh winter. As the birds chirp in the early morning dew and the frigid air transitions into a crisp and cool breeze, I am reminded of the hope we find in Jesus. Yes, He is the rebirth humanity desperately needs. He offers us an opportunity to be renewed, day after day. Regardless of the difficulties we endured in past seasons, like springtime, Jesus gives us a new birth. We can move forward, leaving the damp and dark soil of our old selves, as we move toward His light and begin to bloom. Like spring, we can bask in the new life Jesus has created for us.
So spring forward this season. Allow God’s Word to shower you like a gentle rain. And enjoy the sweet-smelling aroma of His Spirit. Jesus is the catalyst for the renewing of your mind and the restoration of your soul.
Scripture To Meditate On
‘Sing a new song to the Lord ; let the whole earth sing to the Lord . Sing to the Lord , bless his name; proclaim his salvation from day to day. ‘
‘Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come! ‘
‘Ask the Lord for rain in the season of spring rain. The Lord makes the rain clouds, and he will give them showers of rain and crops in the field for everyone. ‘
‘For as the earth produces its growth, and as a garden enables what is sown to spring up, so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all the nations. ‘
With Love,
Tamara
