Rejoice Always

In a world full of suffering and despair, how is it possible to rejoice always? The news cycle is full of reporting on division, instability, and persecution. Families are struggling, businesses are closing, and children are practicing drills in classrooms, preparing for the possibility of the inconceivable.

From Groans To Glory

So what is it? What is the secret to rejoicing always? Well, the promise. We hold onto an eternal promise. It is a promise of glory that surpasses the experience of suffering of the day. A promise that produces hope within us. It is a concept hard for our human minds to grasp. So we put our full trust and faith in God, the Creator of all. For His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. He is our assurance, not the ease of suffering.

The truth is, we live in a broken world, but we serve the everlasting God. Our rejoicing is not absent from the realities of the day, but it is also full of confident anticipation of what is to come. Only when we have a true revelation about who God is and a trusted expectation of living eternally with Him can we live our lives always rejoicing. Because one day, we will go from groans to glory. And that is something to rejoice about.

With Love,

Tamara

Your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy from you. “In that day you will not ask me anything. Truly I tell you, anything you ask the Father in my name, he will give you.’
