More than 2000 years ago, Jesus was born in the flesh. He descended from heaven and embodied His creation, a creation God the Father called good, yet they still sinned. He lived a perfect and uncorrupted life surrendered to the Father. Fully God but fully man, He was tempted but did not sin. He became sin although He knew no sin for all of us. Jesus is God with us.
A Holy Reverence
When we take the time to reflect on who Jesus is and what He has done, we understand His holiness. His sacredness is revealed through His nature causing us to have a holy reverence. With heads bowed and arms raised we sing Immanuel and all praises to the King of kings.
We were once a people separated from God. But His love for us leads us back to the garden where we can commune with Him. Jesus is our redeemer. He is the perfect sacrifice that we could never offer ourselves. The Lamb, presented as spotless, was slain for the sins of the world. Our works will never measure up to the work done on the cross. What a blessing it is that they never have to. Because Jesus paid it all. This is the God we serve. He is the One who has given us His Holy Spirit to lead and counsel us. He is the God who is with us. Jesus is God with us.

Scripture To Meditate On
“See, the virgin will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and they will name him Immanuel, which is translated “God is with us.”
“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. We observed his glory, the glory as the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
“Today in the city of David a Savior was born for you, who is the Messiah, the Lord.”
“Therefore let all the house of Israel know with certainty that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.”
With Love,
Tamara
