Do you know how a flower blooms? It begins with the activation of a single protein triggered by increased daylight. Then, other proteins are activated, triggering 1,000 other genes involved in the flowering process. Some of those genes signal leaf growth to stop and flower production to begin. What is even more interesting is that not all flowers bloom simultaneously. It is a beautiful process that ensures survival, resulting in a variety of flowers throughout the seasons. And just like the spring blooms, we followers of Christ are blooming in God in His perfect timing.

Nutured By The Father
Like flowers, we are dependent on God’s nurture. He waters us with His love and allows His light to shine ever so brightly on us. And like a garden, the Body of Christ is full of colorful flowers all blooming at their own time. When we seek God, He tends to us in a way that only He can. His care leads to righteousness in us and a flourishing in what He has called us to. So we don’t have to worry about another’s bloom. When we bloom in God, we bloom at just the right time.
Scripture To Meditate On
‘For as the earth produces its growth, and as a garden enables what is sown to spring up, so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all the nations. ‘
‘So, then, neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. ‘

Tamara
