This month, many families will gather together in the spirit of thankfulness. As we sit around the table enjoying and perhaps overindulging a home-cooked meal, we may even take turns telling what we are thankful for this year. Gratitude and thanksgiving are important tenets of our Christian faith and should be qualities we all hold and practice daily. As we collectively try to live with a more grateful heart, remember to seek the Word of God in all that you do and honor Him by knowing His truth. Below are some great Bible verses to memorize on thankfulness.

Keep It In Your Heart
When you memorize God’s Word, you keep it in your heart. When you keep it in your heart, you live as He intended: as a reflection of Him. We are to live a life of thanksgiving with praise continually flowing from our lips. So this month as you gather with family and friends, savoring the taste of sweet potato pie and candied yams, remember to continue to study God’s Word, holding onto His truth and thanking Him in all things.
With Love,
Tamara
