HOW WE GOT STARTED

In early 2024, Tamara was inspired to create Before I Sleep, a daily evening devotional podcast. She developed the desire to launch the podcast after realizing that an overwhelming amount of devotionals, whether podcasts, books, or newsletters, greatly emphasized having a morning devotional. While Tamara agrees with having a morning devotion time, she also believes how we spend our evenings are just as important. Our full day belongs to the Lord. Before I Sleep is an invitation to invite God into our evening routines.

As Tamara continues to grow in her relationship with God, she desires more and more to leave a legacy of DEVOTION for her family, community, and the world. She prays that DEVOTED by Tamara will serve as a place of inspiration and revelation that will continually point you to God.
