Where do you abide? What truths do you hold close to your heart and whose example do you live by? To abide in Jesus is to live in communion and submission to God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Taught Us How To Abide
The life of Jesus is the blueprint for every Believer. He demonstrated intimacy with and dependence on the Father. He spoke what the Spirit spoke, remaining in complete union with God. As such, we are to remain in unity with Christ, keeping His Word and shining light in the world as His disciples. Like the metaphor of the vine and branches, our survival and fruitfulness are wholly dependent on our connection to Him. So remain in Him. Draw close with obedience, surrender, and awe. Allow Him to be your Savior and Lord, pruning you to perfection. Find rest in His love where you will enjoy peace, joy, and eternal salvation. And give God all the glory.

Scripture To Meditate On
‘But whoever keeps his word, truly in him the love of God is made complete. This is how we know we are in him: The one who says he remains in him should walk just as he walked. ‘
‘Remain in me, and I in you. Just as a branch is unable to produce fruit by itself unless it remains on the vine, neither can you unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without me. ‘
‘If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you want and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this: that you produce much fruit and prove to be my disciples. ‘
‘Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you continue in my word, you really are my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” ‘
With Love,
Tamara
