It was not typical, nor glamorous, or even widely believed. Yet, it was necessary. Jesus’ birth is a promise of redemption. Furthermore, a promise that only He could fulfill. He descended from heaven to save the very same people who would persecute and crucify Him. However, as he walked the earth and lived among His creation, He revealed the heart and nature of God. He endured and suffered for the sake of those who would follow after Him. His blood, which was willingly shed is our saving grace. He and His Word are alive. It is through the truth of who He is that we find redemption.

Meditate On Him
Therefore, this season, meditate on Him. Meditate on the character of Christ and the call of a Believer to follow Him. Ask yourself, “What does it mean to be a follower of Christ? What does it look like? How does it feel and is my life evident of His existence?” Because it is important to reflect on the gift He has given the world and why. Jesus is not just a name in an old book passed down through generations. No, His name is the name that is above all names, the only name through which we are saved—Jesus, the Son of God, the Messiah, the promise fulfilled.
Scripture To Meditate On
“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace”
“they are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”
“For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”
“For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”
With Love,
Tamara
