Instead, it should offer you clarity and lay a foundation you can build. DEVOTED by Tamara is a Christian Devotional blog. I share a weekly Sunday devotional inspired by my podcast Before I Sleep. Starting a new blog can be very exciting! It can also become overwhelming when you are first starting, especially if you have been down the rabbit hole of the do’s and don’ts articles for a new blogger. The number one thing that may be top of mind for you is “What should I even write about?” You may be wondering, “Should I niche down, or shouldn’t I?” If you are a Christian blogger, my first advice would be to go to God in prayer. That should always be our first response. If you desire your blog to be a source of encouragement or an avenue to spread the gospel, ensure that you are not doing it without the help of the Holy Spirit. Then you can confidently decide on the focus of your blog.
